Step 2: Who can I ask what the problem is?
- Ask a provider or nurse you work with what annoys them and if they could change something what would it be?
- Think outside your unit. Do other stakeholders see a problem with your unit or other units?
- Meet with your facility QI team and ask what they are working on that they need help with (QI nurse, executive position, charge nurse, education nurse etc.).
- Education department
- Who edits, creates protocols
- Look at previous projects – all should have an area for ‘further or continuing research'
