Newspapers have been called "the first rough draft of history".  McFarlin Library provides access to a number of important databases of historical newspapers.  These are listed below this box.

In addition, the library has institutional subscriptions to both The New York Times and The Washington Post that permit individual students, faculty and staff to create their own personal accounts to access the digital versions of both newspapers. Your account will include access to back issues for the following years:
