Introduction

The Federal Depository Program 44 U.S.C. § 19 is overseen by the U.S. Government Publishing Office. Established in 1813, the program ensures that the American public has access to local, no-fee government information in an impartial environment with professional assistance at depository libraries throughout the U.S. and its territories.

Status of the collection

Currently all materials on the Lower Level are inaccessible due to health and safety concerns. This includes microfiche, microfilm, the physical government documents collection, and some print journals and magazines. We are in the process of transitioning to an online depository. Much of our collection is accessible via numerous websites, databases, and the library's online catalog. Visit Ask a Librarian to request research assistance from our librarians. Our librarians are happy to help!
