These citation style guides are streamlined to provide writers with quick support for documenting sources of information in their own writing.
The TU Writing Center staff composed these guides based on faculty recommendations and on information from formal citation guides, such as the 8th edition MLA Handbook and the 6th edition Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association.
Remember: always follow your professor's detailed assignment instructions, which may sometimes differ from the citation guidelines.
Happy writing!
The official citation software of TU is Zotero. This Zotero quick-start guide provides more information about Zotero including where and how to download the software as well as how to use it.
The following citation software options are only suggestions for those individuals who looking for an alternative to using Zotero. The downloadable software has not been tested. The online citation generators have been tested but only for basic accuracy (e.g., a one author book and journal article have been tested but not a book with an editor or a conference proceeding), so please use these sources at your own discretion.
