Hi!  My name is Beth Kieffer and I am the new Graduate Studies Librarian at McFarlin Library.  I love libraries and all that they can do to help people grow.  Mostly I love to learn new things.  I've been an official librarian for 15 years but I have worked in libraries for over 20 years.  My academic background is in languages and International studies.  I have a Bachelor of Arts degrees in Russian Language and International Area Studies of Russia and Eastern Europe from the University of Oklahoma.  From there I went on to receive my Master's of Arts in Russian and East European Studies from the University of Kansas and then back to OU for my Master's of Library and Information Studies.  I truly enjoying researching and especially teaching patrons how to make the scholarly process of researching, writing, and publishing less intimidating.  I look forward to helping and supporting you in your academic endeavors!
