The University of Tulsa supports freedom of research and the unrestricted dissemination of the results of research. The policies governing the use of Special Collections and University Archives materials are intended to be as liberal as possible. Restrictions on the use of materials derive primarily from conditions imposed by authors or donors, intellectual property laws, and the physical condition and preservation of the materials themselves.
