Spring 2021 

McFarlin Library's Video Contest

 

Who can enter: All current TU Students 

Submission: All entries must be submitted by 11:59 PM on February 28, 2021 (see below for more information)

Contest Information: 

Are you great at making videos? If so, this contest is perfect for you! Just make an Anime/Animated or Live Action video that highlights your favorite McFarlin Library website feature or Research Strategy in 30 seconds or less.  Since there are two categories, you can enter one or both!

Formatting: 

All videos must be uploaded to YouTube. Once your video is uploaded, please email the link to lisa-grimes@utulsa.edu

By submitting a video for the McFarlin Library Video Contest, you are agreeing to have your video posted online and voted on by the McFarlin Library Staff and through a Student Vote.

Judging: Two Winners in each Category 

Library Staff Favorite

One winner in each category will be selected by the McFarlin Library Staff– based on: 

  • How accurate and helpful the video is 

  • How engaging the video is

  • Length of video 

  • The video must be original content created by you or your team

  • Video credits must be listed at the end of the video and do not deduct from the 30 second time limit

Student's Choice

One winner in each category will also be voted on by the Students: 

TU Students will get to vote for their favorite video in each category! 

Submit Video Entries via YouTube links to lisa-grimes@utulsa.edu by 11:59 PM on February 28,2021 for your chance to enter. All group member names must be included in the email and in the video credits at the end of the video. 

The winning videos in each category will be announced on March 15, 2021 and  

featured on the McFarlin Library website!
