To reach the Department of Special Collections, enter McFarlin Library through one of the doors on the North or East side of the building.
Continue on the Plaza Level into the solarium, through the double sets of fire doors, and past the Circulation Desk. Turn to the left to find the elevator with faux wood panel doors that faces the art gallery. Take this elevator to the 5th floor. As you exit, Special Collections is the first door on the right.
Press the small white doorbell on the wall and wait for the sound of the door unlocking to enter.
The University of Tulsa at present does not have on-campus housing for visitors.
Visit the Tulsa Convention & Visitors Bureau or other online sources for accommodations and restaurants in the Tulsa area.
Special Collections is located on the 5th floor of McFarlin Library, which is building number 30 on this campus map (click to enlarge).
McFarlin Parking Lot is located just south of E. 5th St. and has a row of free marked visitor spaces along the west wall that is first come, first serve. There is also free street parking on the east side of S. College Ave. if space is available.
For all questions about parking, including how to obtain a temporary pass (recommended for visitors planning research lasting more than a day or two), please contact the Office of Parking and Card Services.
