Community Representatives
Laurie Brumbaugh
- Laurie Brumbaugh is a 1978 graduate of The University of Tulsa. She is a retired accounting professional having worked in banking, car rental, and at a nonprofit. Laurie is an active member of the TU Alumni Association, the Kendall College Board of Visitors, and the McFarlin Fellows Visiting Committee. She is an avid reader and is a member of the JLT Sustainers Book Club since it began in 2006.
Sean Stanford
- Sean Stanford is a Tulsa native, writer, archivist, and specialist in rare books and ephemera. Sean worked for nearly 10 years at the Tulsa City-County Library and has over 20 years of experience in the Tulsa book community as an event coordinator and bookseller. He is dedicated to a love of books and serving the Tulsa community. He is the co-owner and operator of Oak Tree Books on 15th and Delaware in Tulsa.
Krista Baxter Waldron
- Krista Baxter Waldron is a long-time TPS English teacher who likes to build relationships among schools, teachers, and other institutions. She values libraries and universities and the value they add to any community.
Megan Zetik
- Megan Zetik is a University of Tulsa alumni class of 1994, retired teacher and school counselor. She is passionate about community engagement, the arts, and social activism. She enjoys tennis and outdoor activities in cooler climates with her husband, adult children and dog, Miss Honey.

- Jill Krefft is the Dean of McFarlin Library at The University of Tulsa, where she leads efforts to advance access, equity, and innovation in academic library services. With a background in digital archives and a passion for community engagement, she works to connect students, scholars, and the Tulsa community through the library’s evolving resources and programs.

- Kathryn Thomas is the Outreach and Instruction Librarian at The University of Tulsa's McFarlin Library. While she is passionate about information literacy and quality research for all TU students, she also works to make McFarlin a community partner to Tulsa area public school students. With nearly 10 years of experience in the classroom and library environments, Kathryn knows that quality resources and library outreach make communities stronger.
