Zotero is citation management software that takes the drudgery out of research and writing by providing tools to download, organize, and cite references in a paper. Why is a security warning appearing when I try to access a library database?
Occasionally, a security warning may pop up in your browser when you try to access a library database. It is a result of how we authenticate members of the TU community when they use library databases. In a very few cases this comes into conflict with a database's security system and causes the browser to throw up an SSL or security certificate warning.
The warning may make you feel uneasy, but there is nothing to worry about. If you are unsure whether or not it is safe to open a page, then you may contact the Library Service Desk at 918-631-2871 or mcfarlinlibrary@utulsa.edu.
How do I increase my printing quota?
